The MGFS is founded by MAYA Animation Academy, which produces and are producing more film makers (3d Artists, Graphic Designers and Animators) around Nepal as well as the Global Cinema Stage/fraternity since 2005. Encouraged by a renown film maker and friends who wanted to send their children and newcomers to film schoolbut found the price to be too high, MAYA designs a school that is not only comfortable/ affordable but also more importantly is founded on the principle of learning by doing.  

This commitment to learning by doing applies to all of the programs. The academy now offers new comers working with industry standards equipment in world class facilities. The student can choose from a wide range of Visual and   Performance arts programs that includes film direction, writing, editing, cinematography, acting, sound design, VFX,animation and other visual arts. Our main motive is to produce a sincere as well as a professional film makers who can contribute or convey their arts at the Global Stage
